ABOUT ME

I'm René Reulings, a singer with a passion for timeless music. For years, I fronted cover bands, sometimes even in front of thousands of people. This period gave me solid stage experience and taught me the value of truly connecting with an audience.

In 2017, I started writing my own lyrics, and two years later, in 2019, I took my first steps as a solo artist. Since then, I've been building a repertoire that blends various styles: crooner music in the vein of my idols Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, the energy and warmth of Elvis Presley, atmospheric Christmas classics, and carnival music in the dialect of my hometown of Kerkrade.

Most of my solo performances take place in intimate settings, but during Carnival season I often perform in larger venues and traditional settings.

Along the way, I've achieved some remarkable milestones. In 2011, I reached the finals of a crooner competition on a Belgian radio station, and this year I made it to the live auditions for the European TMF Song Contest—a recognition that has given me a great deal of confidence and inspiration.

My dream is to shine as a crooner in theaters, accompanied by a large live big band.

I also want to create my own Christmas revue in the nostalgic atmosphere of the legendary Dean Martin Christmas Specials - an evening full of music, warmth and experience that brings people together.
